Savory Sausage Mushroom Turnover

12 oz Italian Sausage
1 C Chopped Mushrooms
1/3 C Onion, chopped
1/2 C Shredded Swiss Cheese
1/3 C Grey Poupon Country Dijon Mustard
2 Tb Diced Red Pepper
1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
2 - 8 oz Crescent Roll Dough
1 Egg, beaten
Sesame or Poppy Seeds

Cook sausage, mushrooms and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is cooked stirring occasionally to break up sausage. Remove from heat and drain then stir in cheese, mustard, peppers and thyme. Separate each package of dough into 4 rectangles; press perforations together to seal. On floured surface, roll each rectangle into 6” squares. Cut each square into quarters making 32 squares total. Place 1 tablespoon of mixture on each square; fold dough over filling on the diagonal to form a triangle. Press edges with a fork to seal. Place on a greased baking sheet. Brush triangles with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 min or until golden brown. Serve warm
