Goat Cheese in Crackling Caramel Syrup

1 Large Fresh Goat Cheese or Feta
1/4 C Water
1/4 C Sugar
Red Grapes

Place soft fresh goat cheese (or feta cheese) on plate. Stir sugar and ΒΌ Cup water in heavy small saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat and boil without stirring until mixture turns light amber, occasionally brushing down pan sides with wet pastry brush and swirling pan, about 6 minutes. Drizzle over cheese. Add red grapes. Cheeses can be plated up to two hours ahead, tented loosely with foil and left at room temperature.
