6 oz box instant vanilla pudding
7 oz box vanilla wafers
4 bananas, sliced
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp salt
4 tablespoons sugar
ΒΌ teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 375. Make the pudding according to the directions on the box. Arrange the wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding in layers in a 2 quart casserole, ending with a layer of pudding on top. This will make 3 layers. To make the Meringue, Beat the egg whites and salt until frothy. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar at a time and vanilla and beat until meringue is stiff. Spread the meringue gently over the top of pudding bannana mixture and bake for 15 minutes. Note: bananas will brown, may want to toss in a bit of lemon juice.
