Mix 3 parts dry mustard, 3 parts garlic powder, and 1 part salt. Toss the pieces in the seasoning in a big bowl. Then dredge in a bowl of flour with a teaspoon of baking powder. Let the chicken sit in the refrig for 2 hours while you heat up your peanut oil. Heat oil to about 400 degrees and deep fry the pieces for about 20-30 minutes. Transfer to a hot oven to hold if you can’t fry all the chicken at once. |
