Heat oil in a sauce pan, add onions and garlic and fry for 5 mins until softened. Add beef and cook for 5 mins until browned, stirring frequently and breaking up the meat. Add tomatoes, sugar, parsley, marjoram, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt and pepper. Bring to boil then simmer uncovered on low for 30 mins, stirring occasionally. Cook macaroni in a large pan of boiling salted water until tender, then drain well. Beat together the eggs, yogurt and feta cheese, season with salt and pepper. When the meat is done, transfer to a large overproof dish, add macaroni in a layer to cover the meat, then pour over the sauce. Sprinkle on top with percorino cheese. Bake in pre-heated over, 375 degees for 30-45 mins. until golden brown on top. Serve hot, cut into portions. |
