Clafoutis aux Abricots - Apricot batter-pudding

1 lb ripe apricots
5 oz flour
1/2 lb sugar
4 eggs
3 oz cream
3 oz milk
5 Tbls rum
butter for dishes
salt

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees, wash apricots and cut them in halves and pit. Butter 6-8 pie dishes. In an electric mixer put flour, sugar and a pinch of salt and mix. Continue mixing and add eggs 1 at a time then the milk and cream then finally rum. Lay the apricots halves evenly on the bottom of each dish, pour over the batter. Bake in over for 30 minutes, serve warm.
