Place blackberries in a greased 1-qt. baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, water and lemon juice until smooth. Pour over berries. Combine the oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over berries.
Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until filling is bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream

I used frozen berries, so I changed the receipes by adding a spoon full more of sugar and I covered the top with tin foil for the last 10 minutes. Very good desert.

My family loved this. I served it warm with vanilla ice cream in small glass bowls for the four of us.The recipe said 2 servings but it served all four. sandyraebriggs
